炮塔铣床是一种通用金属切削机床，具有立、卧铣两种功能，可直接或通过附件安装各种圆柱铣刀、端面铣刀等刀具。可加工平面，任意角度的斜面，铣键槽，沟槽，也可以转，铰，镗孔，其铣头可作左右回转各90度，前后各45度，滑枕可平转360度。主轴变速范围大，转速高。
